LAUGH FACTORY ANNOUNCES WINNER OF GLOBAL PRESIDENT TRUMP IMPERSONATION DAY COMPETITION-JOHN DI DOMENICO

On Wednesday, April 26th the world famous Laugh Factory comedy club presented the President Trump Impersonation Finals which was held at the iconic venue in Hollywood,,California. Hosted by the original Trump impersonator and SNL Alum, Darrell Hammond, the competition featured 10 Trump impersonators from all over the world who flew in to Los Angeles for a chance to win the top prizehost a new show for Laugh Factory Magazine Called “Real News/Fake News.”

John Di Domenico
The event featured a standing-room only live audience. Judges included Darrell Hammond, Paul Rodriguez, Gary Bryan, Pookie Winnington, and George Wallace. Veteran Trump impersonator John Di Domenico took home first place. The Las Vegas-based Di Domenico has been impersonating Trump for twelve years and while he boasts 30 impersonations in all, Di Domenico has spent the last 18 months in overdrive as Donald Trump. Second place went to Trump impersonator Joseph Wilson who traveled from London, England for the competition.
Di Domenico is currently the voice of Donald Trump for Slate’s Trumpcast, the Conan O’Brian Show Chelsea Handler and the official Trump for The Blaze Network.
The first round of the competition took place online and selected the 10 finalists. The furthest finalist came from New Zealand. Others came from Dubai, Great Britain, and Canada. The competition featured a female Trump impersonator, as well as an Iranian Trump, a country that was part of the US travel ban. The South Korean candidate couldn’t be located at the time of the show.
ABC’s “The View” held a round of the Trump Impersonator competition and John Di Domenico won that semi final competition, which guaranteed him a spot in the Laugh Factory finals. Click here to view the video: https://vimeo.com/211592232
