During one of the most important Auto Shows in Latin America, the 8th International Auto Show of Buenos Aires, Nissan received Argentinean president Mauricio Macri at its stand. The visit took place after another meeting with the president where Nissan reaffirmed its commitment to Argentina through the manufacturing project of NP300 Frontier pickups. The project will transform Nissan into an automotive terminal in Argentina for the first time in its history.
Diego Vignati, managing director of Nissan Argentina, welcomed President Macri. At the auto show, Vignati presented the Frontier pickup that will be produced in the province of Crdoba in the second half of 2018 with an investment of USD $600 million dollars.
President Macri toured the Nissan stand at the show and inspected the new Nissan Kicks crossover, Nissan Gripz Concept, Enguard and Frontier Attack Concept as well as the entire Nissan portfolio in Argentina.
